AARP Walk & Bike Audit

• Saturday, May 24th
• 1pm to 4pm
• Location TBD (but it will be close to downtown)

As part of our Bike Month events, the shop is collaborating with our local trail advocacy group, the city of Evansville, and AARP Wisconsin on a Walk and Bike Audit.

A WALK AUDIT IS … an activity in which participants observe and evaluate the walkability of a location to identify and document if and how pedestrians can safely travel along a street, navigate an intersection and get from Point A to B and C and so on.

A Walk and Bike Audit can lead to improvements in city infrastructure, provide access to funding opportunities from AARP and other organizations, and encourage a healthier, more active lifestyle.
