Refund Policy for Shifting Gears Bike Shop

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Shifting Gears Bike Shop. If you are not completely happy with your product, you may return it within 30 days of the purchase date for a refund or exchange.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

• Food and drink items
• Gift cards
• Some special order items
• Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error may not be eligible for a refund.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within four days.

Late or missing refunds

If you’ve checked with your bank and your credit card company and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at orders@ShiftingGearsBikeShop.com.

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item, please contact us at orders@ShiftingGearsBikeShop.com to arrange the exchange process.

Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

Warranty

Many of our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. If your item is defective or becomes faulty within the warranty period, please contact us for assistance. We will be glad to help.
