Service Reminder!

Your bike will last a long time and give you years and miles of service if maintained properly. We recommend having your bike serviced once a year if you ride recreationally and more often if you commute or put on a lot of miles every month.

A well-maintained bicycle rides smoother, shifts more reliably, and ultimately lasts years longer than one that’s neglected. More importantly, regular tune-ups catch small issues before they become expensive repairs or, worse, safety hazards that could leave you stranded or injured.

During a typical tune-up, we will adjust your derailleurs for crisp shifting, true your wheels to eliminate wobbles, check your brake pads and cables, lubricate your chain and other moving parts, and inspect your frame for cracks or damage. We also ensure your headset, bottom bracket, and hubs are properly adjusted and spinning freely. These seemingly minor adjustments make a dramatic difference in how your bike feels and responds.

A tune-up is also an opportunity to make sure your grips or bar tape are still in good condition, your seat is providing the support you need without the pain you don’t, and your tires have plenty of life left in them.

Bring your bike in for a tune-up this fall and it will be all ready to go on that first beautiful spring day.
