AWARE in Evansville

AWARE is a grassroots program created in 1998 to address the needs of Evansville’s growing low-income population. AWARE’s services benefit struggling families, seniors and disabled adults who reside within the Evansville School District.

Evansville Ecumenical Care Closet

The Care Closet offers a food pantry and re-sale store of gently used household items and clothing. All people are welcome to shop in the store, and customers may use the food pantry once a month for assistance.

Cash donations are a great way to support these important organizations in our community. When you make a purchase this November we will donate 10% of the total to AWARE and the Care Closet.

Food insecurity, heating costs, affording personal care items, and making the rent are challenging issues for too many of our neighbors. We are proud to support our community this November.
