Spring is coming, and we’re making room for new inventory — which means now is a great time to find a new home for that bike sitting in your garage.
Whether it’s a kid’s bike that’s been outgrown, an adult bike you haven’t ridden in a few years, or something in between, bring it to the bike shop. We’re actively looking for used bikes to clean up and resell, and we want to give those bikes a second life here in the community.
Kids Bikes: Time to Trade Up?
If your family shopped with us in the last two years, there’s a good chance your little one is already ready for the next size up. Kids grow fast, and bikes don’t always keep up.
We can fit kids from their very first balance bike all the way up to their first adult-sized ride. Bring in the bike they’ve outgrown and we’ll put it toward something that fits them now. You can take a cash payout or apply the value as a trade-in credit toward a new bike — whatever works best for your family.
Adult Bikes Too
Don’t have a kid in the picture? That’s fine. We’ll take your old adult bike as well. If it has a frame, we’re interested. We start at a $20 salvage price for bikes that need a lot of work, and we go up from there depending on what you’ve got. For nicer bikes, we use tools like Bicycle Blue Book to make sure we’re offering a fair number. If you’d rather just donate it, we’re happy to take those too — donated bikes help us keep affordable options available for riders in the community.
Even eBikes
We’re now able to take some electric bikes in on trade as well, through our new partnership with Upway, a certified used eBike resale platform. If you’ve got an eBike you’re ready to move on from, give us a call or text and we can talk through whether it’s a good fit.
How It Works
Bring your bike to the shop and we’ll take a look, or give us a call or text if you want to talk it through first. If getting the bike to us is a challenge, reach out — we are happy to arrange a pickup.
There’s no pressure and no obligation. If we can make it work, we will.
