Are the Kids College bound? Are they ready?

Biking can be a great way to get from class, to the dorm, their friends, or the local coffee shop. Help them travel safely while they are away from home. This short list can help make sure they are ready before you send them off this fall.

Is their bike college-ready? If it hasn’t had a tune up in over a year, it’s a good idea to get it in the shop for Paul to complete a basic tune-up before you pack it up. Did you know you can schedule one right on the website? Super simple!

How does the bike helmet look? Any cracks? Give it a good whiff test. If it fails the cracks and whiff test, we’ve got plenty in stock to be sure their noggin stays safe for all that studying they will be doing.

How much are they lugging around? Those books can be heavy! It might be time to evaluate that book bag, and fit them with a bike carrier and pannier. And when not carrying books, they can easily tote around groceries, take out, beverages, you name it.

And last, but not least, we have lights and locks:

It’s dark. That darn sun gets up late and goes to bed early! We’ve got plenty of safety lights (some battery, some rechargeable), because I bet your kid does not go to bed early.

Lock it up! Make sure their bike is there when they need it. A solid bike lock goes a long way in keeping peace of mind. If not for them, then for you.

Come on down to the shop and browse for the latest new items, or check out the website.
