The League of American Bicyclists is campaigning to have Marshal “Major” Taylor recognized at the national level for his amazing accomplishments and to honor this trailblazing athlete and cyclist. Contact your member of Congress.

At the turn of the last century, Marshal Major Taylor was one of the best track sprinter in the cycling world. Born in Indianapolis in 1878, he raced professionally all over the world. The Indiana PBS station aired a documentary about him last month, and the League of American Cyclists held a webinar during bike month. Links to both below.
