If you’ve walked past our service counter lately, you’ve probably noticed it’s not just traditional bikes on the stands anymore. E-bikes, electric scooters, and other micromobility rides have become a real part of what we work on every week — and we wanted to make sure you’re up to speed on all the services we provide.
Common repairs we see:
- Tire and tube replacements — especially on electric scooters, where stock parts often don’t hold up to daily riding. (Or double riding, which is a really bad idea.) We stock all the common sizes of tubes and we can usually order new tires for delivery in a few days.
- E-bike Safety Checks — brakes, drivetrain, and general safety checks, same as we’d do for any bike. If you’re kids on an e-bike and it hasn’t been in the shop yet we strongly encourage you to bring it in for a check. We’ve seen bad brakes, loose bolts, and disconnected safety features.
If something on your scooter or e-bike has been acting up — a tire that won’t hold air, brakes that feel off, anything — bring it by. Chances are we’ve already seen it. We can get you back on the street (or sidewalk) in no time.
BTW… scooters and bikes need to be walked on the sidewalk in the downtown business district. Slow down and be safe when you’re heading to the bike shop.
