The library and Evansville Chamber series
The Eager Free Public Library and the Evansville Chamber are teaming up on a multipart series for local small businesses, and the second session is Tuesday, November 17, at 6pm at the library. They will be replaying “Grow Your Customer Base: How to Create Offers They Can’t Refuse,” a 60-minute SCORE webinar on bringing in new customers. After the video, there will be a short discussion so you can compare notes with other local owners. It’s free, and it’s a nice way to get some expert help without leaving town. If you can’t make this one, a third session is coming in January.
What is SCORE?
SCORE is a nonprofit that pairs small business owners with free, volunteer mentors who have been in their shoes. It started in 1964 as a partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Today more than 10,000 volunteers across the country offer one-on-one mentoring, workshops, and online learning at no cost. Whether you’re thinking about starting a business or trying to grow the one you already have, it’s a great place to get practical advice from people who have actually done it.
